Colorado's first LUNCH BEAT took place in the UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art downtown site - GOCA121 - in December, 2012 with over 120 in attendance. It's back at GOCA in September and it's a kick-off event for the WhatIf? Festival downtown! Get tickets today in advance and save over at the door costs (plus it helps us know how many sandwiches to supply!)
Lunch Beat was founded by Molly Ränge in June 2010, and the first event was arranged in the Fabel garage under Hötorget in the city of Stockholm, Sweden. 14 people attended the event. Now it's an international phenomenon, with a basic concept. GOCA's Lunch Beat is still Colorado's first!
Come dance Colorado Springs.
DJ Wesley Wayne will be spinning retro/80's/funk/soul and more to keep you dancing. Lunch will be provided in the form of sandwiches (vegetarian and gluten free options) as well as water.
