Prepare yourself for an experience like no other—a devastating masterpiece that leaves you walking on air.

She’s sitting half buried in a small mound of earth. She’s going nowhere but down. Yet she wakes up every morning and remains quite cheerful, even gay. She brushes her teeth, combs her hair, says her prayers, fondles her revolver, and encourages her husband. Meet Winnie, the heroine of Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece, and one of the greatest dramatic roles ever written for an actress, a cross between Lucille Ball and King Lear.
