Floyd D. Tunson declares in his artist statement: "I have become a Janus." Depicted with two faces—one looking to the future and one to the past—Janus is, in ancient Roman myth, the god of beginnings, transitions, time, duality, passages and endings. A new body of work by this critically acclaimed, multi-dimensional and influential artist inaugurates GOCA's new Marie Walsh Sharpe Gallery of Contemporary Art site, in the Ent Center for the Arts.
