about the artist

Hannah Shelton was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. With an artist grandfather, she was intrigued with many art mediums at an early age. Photography quickly became a focused interest, and she started spending hours with disposable cameras and her mother’s Polaroid. While self-taught in the beginning, Hannah honed her skills by obtaining a minor in visual arts from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Growing up in Colorado, a passion for wildlife, landscapes, and the earth developed naturally. This passion matured into the drive to obtain a Geography and Environmental Studies Degree. These two elements, the environment and photography, continue to inspire Hannah to capture natural surroundings in both digital and film medium.
