Distinguished guests Oskar Eustis and Jeanine Tesori will speak about the state of American theatre and the creation of new work as part of the annual Prologue lecture series, co-presented by Theatreworks and the UCCS Theatre and Dance Program. Eustis is the artistic director of the Public Theater in New York, where he continues a career-long commitment to the development of new plays as a director, dramaturg and producer. He has premiered or commissioned numerous award-winning works, such as "Hamilton," "Fun Home," and "Angels in America." Tesori, who composed the music for "Fun Home," is an accomplished theatrical composer and half of the first female writing team to win a Tony for Best Original Score.
